Mischief Movie Night at Birmingham Hippodrome

Mischief Movie Night is from the team behind The Play That Goes Wrong and the forthcoming The Comedy about a Bank Robbery tour at Birmingham Hippodrome. It promises a different Improv of Movies every night.

Jonathan Sayer acts as our host for the evening, armed with a notepad and a remote control he is asking us to join in with suggestions for themes, characters and plotlines for the movie.

The Birmingham audience suggested a Western with death by cactus and a Bollywood dance theme. Welcome to Birmingham!

The intimate setting of the Patrick Studio at Birmingham Hippodrome provides a totally different style of theatre to the main auditorium.

It’s a bit difficult to tell you what to expect content wise from each actual night as the themes could be anything really, but there will be: musical interludes, silly voices, social awkwardness, and a bit of confusion.

The Play that goes Wrong offers Actors playing Actors in a play but Mischief Movie Night presents you with the actors playing with themes directly and this makes it feel much more playful and raw and fun.

Check out Mischief Movie Night at Birmingham Hippodrome until Sunday 1st July. Book tickets here: birminghamhippodrome.com/calendar/mischief-movie-night
