Pizza at Dig Brew Co in Birmingham
Dig Brew Co is soo cool that it doesn’t bother finishing any of the words in its name. Based in Digbeth, DigBETH BrewERY CoMPANY is a taphouse and brewery housed behind some industrial plastic blinds. These make you slightly wonder if you are using the correct entrance to the building. There’s a long bar and many tables and long benches sat in uniform rows.
2pm Saturday: We haven’t reserved or announced our arrival and just arrive on the hunt for pizza and drinks. My friend has one of the Birmingham discount card/app/keychains/codewords, which in this case gives us Two for One on Pizza.
There’s an array of craft beer and even some cider available behind the bar. I went for a rhubarb cider, I didn’t even need a sample of it as I was sold on the flavour already. Sweet, sweet sweet!
I’ve ordered a Mushroom Pizza and we sit at one of the tables. We sip our drinks and the pizzas arrives pretty quickly. The Pizza is handmade and topped with ruffage.
This is a slightly unconventional venue and well worth a visit. Digbeth is constantly evolving with new or different spaces to try out over the day or into the evening and this venue is a great addition.
Dig Brew Co at 43 River St, Birmingham B5 5SA and open from Noon most days until 10pm weekdays and Midnight on weekends. Check out digbrewco.com
I visited Dig Brew Co unannounced and paid for drinks, my friend paid for our pizzas on her deal. This isn’t a sponsored post.
