BRICKLIVE at The NEC
For me these days, October Half Term only means one thing! BRICKLIVE is in town. I was a kid OBSESSED with LEGO, an building, the creative nature of LEGO means you are only limited by your imagination.
The global obsession with LEGO continues to grow and having a four day event in Birmingham helps kids of all ages get a chance to see what the LEGO community is doing.

This year, BRICKLIVE is across several halls in the NEC until Sunday 29th October, There are lots of brick pits for you to build your latest ideas in a set colour. A market area called Brick Lane, with LEGO inspired products from all over the UK, a huge LEGO branch of Toy’r’us offering deals on all sorts of LEGO series.
This year there’s Mayka Tape. This is LEGO friendly and you can stick your creations to any surface! I managed to not get too excited when I saw this, but it was a challenge.

There’s a huge gaming area for Marvel with LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 playable onsite and spaces to try out LEGO Ninjago too.
A safari zone featured wild animals created by Bright Bricks and there’s also Warrior Bots which sees a series of LEGO created vehicles battle it out until one of them falls into a pit!

It’s lovely seeing this show return with lots of new spaces and seeing excited kids (and adults) get is part of the fun. Just watch your step you might tread on a LEGO brick.
