Royal town set to host eighth annual Expo
Sutton Coldfield’s annual Expo event returns this Saturday 30th September, for the eighth consecutive year.
Organised by Sutton Coldfield Town Centre BID, this hugely popular one-day event, grows in size each year, with over 40 local businesses, charities, community organisations and sports clubs turning out to front the 2017 line up.
The event, now an annual highlight in the town centre calendar, is the biggest exhibition Sutton Coldfield Town Centre BID organises each year.
Every September the Parade is taken over by the best regional businesses and services, giving them a platform to promote themselves and meet with the local community.
A-Plan will be exhibiting once again, showcasing a Ford Mustang V8 model car, Marks and Spencer also join the line up this year, recruiting for the festive season.
This Saturday’s showcase, which takes place between 9am – 5pm on the Parade, also provides a platform for local music, dance and drama groups to perform.
Acts from Sutton’s Month of Music The Rowberry-Clarke Project and students from Stagecoach and Angelina Ballerina dance school will appear plus finalists from the Sutton Has Musical Talent competition will perform in different slots throughout the day.
Anyone visiting the town centre on Saturday is invited to visit the free event and learn more about the variety of things to do and support in their home town.

“The event is well loved, well attended and continuing to grow year on year. Expo provides businesses with the unique opportunity to engage with Sutton residents, workers and visitors on a level they don’t usually have access to elsewhere in the year.
