New events space in the heart of Birmingham
Birmingham’s event scene is about to get even more impressive, as it welcomes the arrival of a spectacular new venue.
Overlooking the city’s picturesque waterways, Canalside is a brand new contemporary and flexible events space situated within a beautiful inner-city setting.
Located within Birmingham’s iconic landmark, The Cube, Canalside combines practical with beautiful, and provides the perfect blank canvas for guests looking to create a bespoke event suited to their individual needs.
Boasting spacious and modern features, and tailored packages to suit anywhere between 50 and 400 guests, the venue will be able to host all types of corporate events, parties, conferences, formal receptions and weddings.
Complete with modern sliding doors which open directly onto the canal towpath, Canalside also has the unique ability to bring the outdoors in, adding a new dimension to Birmingham’s city centre events offering.
Alongside a highly rated team of preferred suppliers who can take care of everything from live music and entertainment to venue dressing, theming and flowers, Canalside offers a diverse range of catering options including formal sit down dinners, bowl food, canapés, buffets and BBQ food.
Jonathan Peek, general manager at Canalside, comments: “We’re absolutely thrilled to be opening such a stunning venue that will transform Birmingham’s events scene.
“There aren’t many venues that can call themselves a blank canvas but Canalside really can. It’s a truly flexible and dedicated events space which has been specially designed to allow guests to put their own stamp on their events.
“Combine that with exceptional food, all delivered by a highly experienced and creative team, there really is no other place like Canalside in the city.”
Canalside has already been booked in advance for a number of high profile events and this week played host to The Big Sleuth’s prestigious launch event.
Elinor Eustace, deputy director of fundraising at Birmingham Children’s Hospital, said: “The launch event ran seamlessly and that was all down to the Canalside team.
“The venue provided a stunning backdrop for the event and was the perfect place to showcase the beautiful bears.
“It was such a stress free event and I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending it to others.”
