Royal Town centre braced for bumper Expo
This weekend the Royal town will see the return of the hugely popular Expo, now in its seventh year this will be the biggest exhibition Sutton Coldfield Town Centre BID has organised with over 45 local charities, organisations and businesses in attendance.
The one day event, which will take place this Saturday 24th September between 9am and 5pm on the Parade, will give those providing a valuable service in the town an opportunity to promote themselves and meet with local people.
Anyone visiting the town centre on Saturday is invited to visit the free event and learn more about the variety of things to do and support in their home town.
The Expo will be a hub of activity with live music, dance and drama performances taking place throughout the day.
Mike Bushell, Sutton Coldfield Town Centre BID manager, comments: “The Expo has grown in popularity every year, and this is testament to just how valuable it is for our town centre. There are so many brilliant businesses, charities and groups in the town, but they don’t always have the opportunity to engage with Sutton’s residents, workers and visitors – the Expo provides them with the perfect way to do just that.
“It’s brilliant to see so many organisations snap up spaces for the event, this year spaces were allocated in record time. This fantastic response is very encouraging and shows a genuine enthusiasm in and for the town. We’re very much looking forward to the buzz the event will create around the town centre on Saturday – and are of course praying for good weather!”
