Rewired PR wins communications brief from Black and White Hospitality
Birmingham based Rewired PR has been appointed by Black and White Hospitality as its retained communications agency to support the company’s business growth in the West Midlands.
The extended role will see Rewired delivering PR and social media activity for Black and White’s flagship Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar and Grill at the Cube in Birmingham, alongside PR and event management for theclubandspa.
In addition, Rewired will be supporting Black and White Hospitality with the launch of its new “ultra-casual” dining concept , Bardolino Pizzeria Bellini and Espresso bar, in Birmingham later this spring, alongside a second new venue.
The appointment comes on the back of Rewired’s existing social media brief for Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar and Grill, which has seen the Birmingham restaurant exceed its targets for audience and engagement growth across social platforms, through creative content management and delivery.
Ruth Pipkin, managing director at Rewired said: “Having worked closely with the Black and White Hospitality team for the past six months, we’ve got to know the business really well and we’re excited to have the opportunity to extend our brief across PR and social media for these two iconic destinations, in addition to launching new venues within the group.”
The Rewired team for Black and White Hospitality includes account director, Natalie Merrix and senior account executive, Lisa O’Keeffe.
Black and White Hospitality owns the franchise rights to five Marco Pierre White restaurant brands:
Wheeler’s of St. James’s, Steakhouse Bar & Grill, Mr. White’s English Chophouse, Marco’s New York Italian and Bardolino Pizzeria Bellini and Espresso Bar. With 27 restaurants across the UK, Black and White Hospitality is experiencing rapid growth, with a further 13 new venues expected by the end of 2016.
Based in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter, Rewired specialises in PR, social media and event management for clients across the retail and leisure, education and third sectors. Clients include the Mailbox, Cadbury World, Cure Leukaemia and Millennium Point.
