Yesterday, I went to the Rose Villa Tavern for an excellent evening to try different types of Vodka, but before I blog about that, I wanted to share this with you about The Victoria, which is also part of the Bitters ‘N’ Twisted group.

New Brew Thursday at The Victoria
The team at The Victoria, John Bright Street, welcome customers to experiment with them as New Brew Thursday takes place each Thursday night, pairing a whiskey or bourbon with a craft beer, matched perfectly with a dish, fresh from the kitchen.
New Brew Thursday (also known as #NBT) offers drink connoisseurs and novices alike the chance to wax lyrical with The Victoria’s knowledgeable bartenders as they create a different boilermaker and bespoke food menu, just for that night.
In addition once a month brand ambassadors and master brewers from the respective brands will be providing samples, talking about their brands and offering up some of their favourite ways to enjoy the different drinks.
Dates for the diary include Thursday March 10th to meet Northern Monkey Beer and on St. Patrick’s Day, March 17th with Jameson whisky and Beavertown craft beer, served alongside a range of seasonal homemade burgers, from 7pm.
Gerard Glenholmes-Walsh, General Manager of The Victoria said of the night: “The Victoria is well known as a place to enjoy a craft beer or a dram of whiskey and our team can’t resist striking up a conversation with drink enthusiasts and seeing what new combinations of Boilermakers they can come up with – so we’ve dedicated a night to it. Having the brewers and the brand rep’s coming down is very exciting, it’s not to be missed”

The Victoria was the second venue in Birmingham’s independent family of bars and restaurants, Bitters n’ Twisted Venues. Open every day from Noon serving cask ales, cocktail and spirits as well as home cooked food until 9pm.
