Half-term family fun at Cadbury World

For a family day out that’s choc-full of fun, Cadbury World is the perfect destination this February half-term.

The week begins with Valentine’s Weekend from 13th to 14th February, where both hearts and chocolate are set to melt. A real-life cupid statue will be aiming to play matchmaker throughout the attraction, whilst visitors will also be able to pick up a range of special handmade Valentine’s gifts in the World’s Biggest Cadbury Shop. Elsewhere, the Cadbury Café will also be serving up some special Valentine’s treats that are almost too good to share, providing the perfect pit-stop during your visit.

Until Sunday 21st February, families will be able to enjoy an exciting live show in the outdoor marquee, as a host of children’s entertainers spread joy with their extraordinary talents. Visitors of all ages should also be on the lookout for the iconic Cadbury characters, as the likes of Caramel Bunny and Freddo will be making regular appearances throughout the week, to meet and pose for photos with visitors.

As well as the half-term fun, visitors can discover the amazing world of Cadbury through the attraction’s chocolatey zones; from travelling back 1,000 years through the Aztec Jungle, to watching the talented chocolatiers in the Chocolate Making zone. If that’s not enough, wait until you’re experiencing a world of digital chocolate delights in Purple Planet, including growing your own virtual cocoa tree and dancing in virtual chocolate rain; the perfect ingredients for an exciting family day out.

Not to be missed is the 4D Chocolate Adventure zone, an interactive cinema experience starring the iconic Cadbury characters. Here, you can experience the feeling of riding the Crunchie rollercoaster and find out what it would be like to dive into a pot of melted Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolate, all without leaving your seat.

Diane Mitchell, marketing manager at Cadbury World, said: “Cadbury World is the perfect place for the whole family this half-term, from our chocolatey zones to our brilliant entertainers, the whole family is sure to leave with a smile on their face. Half-term is just the start of another year of fantastic events, including the return of Sooty and our popular Heritage Weekends.”
