Cadbury World reopens with panto fun for the whole family
Cadbury World prepares to open its doors for 2016 on Monday 25th January, there’s more in store for visitors over the first two weekends, as the ‘Sleeping Beauty and the Chuckle Bean Fairy’ pantomime returns.
Following record visitor numbers to the attraction’s Christmas Celebration Weekends in 2015, Cadbury World is starting 2016 in style with the return of the popular pantomime on 30th and 31st January, and 6th and 7th February. With five shows each day, visitors will have plenty of opportunities to join in the characteristic chorus of boos and cheers.
The live performance is based on the classic children’s tale with a chocolatey twist, as Cadbury World’s Chuckle Bean Fairy helps to save Princess Aurora from the Evil Queen, with a little help from Silly Billy and Prince Charming along the way. The enchanting story encourages laughter, audience participation and festive spirit; all the key ingredients for a show the whole family can enjoy.
Elsewhere in the attraction, visitors can explore the magic and making of the famous Cadbury brand through the attraction’s chocolatey zones. From exploring the history through the Aztec Jungle and Bull Street zones and watching a chocolatier in action in Chocolate Making, to experiencing the feeling of diving into a pot of melted Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolate and riding the Crunchie Rollercoaster in the 4D Chocolate Adventure zone, there’s plenty to bring the magic of Cadbury to life.
With lots more on offer, including the World’s Biggest Cadbury Shop, stocked with all the Cadbury favourites, as well as the Cadbury Café and African Adventure play area for children, 2016 is set to be an exciting year for the popular attraction.
Diane Mitchell, marketing manager at Cadbury World, commented: “Following a fantastic Christmas period here at Cadbury World, we’re delighted to be beginning the new year with the return of our popular pantomime!
