There was no sign of the January blues at yesterday’s Brum SOUP. 4 great pitches, 2 lovely soups, a killer chocolate cake and a brilliant crowd made for a lovely afternoon.
This month’s projects pitching for the investment included; a project with students at Bournville College who are making postcards to sell and raise money for homeless charity St Basil’s, performer Swingerella whose ‘Goddess Foundation’ aims to help women who have suffered domestic violence by facilitating poetry workshops, and Vicky from Therapies 4 Autism who was offering 1-to-1 sessions with parents who have children with autism.
It was Second Pedals who won the most votes at yesterday’s Birmingham SOUP and took home £332 towards their project.
