Yamination Studios’ Short Animation Film At-issue set for Sky Arts TV Broadcast from Wednesday 6th January 2016

Yamination Studios is an animation company based in Birmingham’s creative quarter, Digbeth, which specialises in stop frame animation, working on short films, promos and commercials for clients such as Coca-Cola, Cravendale and Sky.

The Studios latest short film, At-issue, which initially started in 2012 through a commission from Sky Academy’s Arts Scholarship Scheme is now complete and ready for the big screen.

At-issue coming on Sky Arts in 2016

Here’s more about At-issue:

Bartholomew, a struggling thirty something puppet, dreams of becoming a Hollywood Star just like his father. In a last ditch effort to achieve his life-time goal, he seizes an opportunity to audition for his perfect job, but his dream is threatened. He is different to all the other actors – not only are they 2D, but they are also cool, calm and confident, unlike Bartholomew who is clumsy, awkward and…a puppet.

In order to succeed he takes the liberty of changing his appearance to give him an added boost to fit in…which has disastrous consequences. In a comedic story with heart, Bartholomew shows he has perseverance and determination, but ultimately he must learn that in order to achieve his dreams he must be himself, and the dream will follow him.

You can find At-issue on Sky Arts HD (Sky Channel 121) at 16:50 on Wednesday 6th January 2016. For more information please follow and check the following social media platforms:
