Indulge in National Chocolate Week at Cadbury World
Cadbury World is joining in the fun to celebrate what it does best, as National Chocolate Week takes place from 12th to 18th October. Hosting a range of exciting events, there’s no better way to take part than to book a visit to the ultimate chocolate attraction.
Find out more about the tastiest job in the world as Cadbury World hosts a special interview with its talented chocolatiers. On Wednesday 14th October at 12pm, Challenge a Chocolatier will be taking over the attraction’s official Facebook and Twitter pages. Answering all of your chocolate related questions, from tips for using chocolate in baking to quizzing them on some of their fantastic chocolate designs, including the recent iconic Birmingham landmarks creation; this is an opportunity not to be missed.
If you’re left inspired, you’ll soon be able try the job for yourself and get closer to Cadbury chocolate than ever before with the brand new Chocolatier Experience. The interactive session will be your unique chance to learn from Cadbury World’s very own chocolatiers, so watch this space for more information.
Throughout National Chocolate Week, visitors will also have a final chance to see the impressive chocolate creation made for the attraction’s 25th anniversary. Featuring iconic Birmingham landmarks, attraction’s and events made entirely from chocolate, the masterpiece can be found proudly on display in the popular Chocolate Making zone.
Classic children’s TV character, Count Duckula, will also be taking part in the fun with an action-packed live show, The Jewels of Duckula. Taking place in the outdoor marquee on Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th October during National Chocolate Week, as well as Saturday 7th, Sunday 8th, Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th November, the show is part of an exciting programme of events taking place at Cadbury World this autumn.
Throughout October half-term (24th October – 1st November), the popular Halloween Spooktacular returns to Cadbury World. With plenty of hocus pocus being cast along the way and the World’s Biggest Cadbury Shop full of scary treats to try, it is a must for some scarily good fun.
Diane Mitchell, marketing manager at Cadbury World, said: “National Chocolate Week is the perfect time for us to celebrate everything here at Cadbury World! From one of our very first Chocolatier Experience sessions taking place, to visitors having the chance to quiz our chocolatiers on their latest creations, there’s also our 14 chocolatey zones and a host of events to keep the whole family entertained.”
Later on in the year, there’s plenty to get the whole family in the festive mood as Cadbury World’s Christmas Celebration Weekends return. The enchanting Cadbury World pantomime returns with a brand new show, Sleeping Beauty and the Chuckle Bean Fairy, whilst also new for this year, Santa heads out of his grotto to star in his very own stage show.
