Aztec weekend returns to Cadbury World

Cadbury World is set to turn up the heat this weekend, as Aztec Weekend returns from Saturday 3rd – Sunday 4th October.

Visitors will be transported back 1,000 years into the Aztec Jungle, where they will have the chance to discover the exotic origins of the cocoa bean. Those feeling brave enough can sample Emperor Montezuma’s very own chilli chocolate drink, whilst young adventurers will also have the chance to pose for a photo with a human statue of the Emperor himself.

Elsewhere throughout Cadbury World’s 14 amazing zones, there’s plenty to ensure a day that’s choc-full of fun for the whole family. Visitors can relive the iconic drumming gorilla advert in Advertising Avenue, whilst the popular Chocolate Making zone gives you the chance to watch the talented chocolatiers in action. There is also a chance to buy some of the chocolatiers unique creations in the World’s Biggest Cadbury Shop – the perfect end to a busy day at Cadbury World.

Cadbury World is also home to the popular 4D Chocolate Adventure Zone, where visitors can experience the feeling of diving into a pot of Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolate and riding the Crunchie Rollercoaster, all without leaving their seats. The recently refreshed Purple Planet is also a must visit, featuring interactive games with a chocolatey twist. From growing and harvesting your own virtual cocoa tree, to testing your memory on a cocoa bean sequence game, the whole family can get involved.

Diane Mitchell, marketing manager at Cadbury World, said: “Aztec weekend has been really popular in the past and is a great opportunity to visit the attraction. It promises to spice up a chilly weekend in October – with a taste of Emperor Montezuma’s chilli chocolate drink alone!”
